Sales Director for the DACH region

Berlin, Germany
Full-time
Permanent employee
150,000 € per year

About The Role

Vivid Money is redefining how SMEs manage and grow their capital. From multi-currency accounts and FX solutions to Treasury products (high-yield Interest Accounts and Business Depot for MMFs and ETFs) and Expense Management tools – we provide businesses with a comprehensive financial infrastructure.

We are looking for a Sales Director for the DACH region to build and lead our go-to-market efforts in Germany. You will develop a high-performing sales team from scratch, drive both inbound and outbound sales strategies, and scale adoption of our full product suite among corporate finance decision-makers.

Your Mission

  • Work directly with Vivid Co-Founders on Sales strategy for DACH and EU.
  • Build and lead the B2B sales team: recruiting, onboarding, and coaching from day one.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies across our product portfolio, aligned with company goals.
  • Drive sales of business accounts, treasury solutions, expense management, FX services and other corporate financial products.
  • Identify key customer segments and deliver compelling value propositions for liquidity and yield optimisation.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing to shape go-to-market initiatives and refine positioning.
  • Build strong relationships with partners, advisors and key regional stakeholders.
  • Drive a performance-focused culture with clear KPIs, forecasting and continuous improvement.
  • Report market insights, performance and opportunities to internal leadership.
  • Represent Vivid at industry events, conferences and client meetings.

Your Profile

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in treasury, investment products, or corporate banking.
  • Experience in investment firms, asset managers, or leading German banks is a strong plus.
  • Proven success in building and scaling sales teams in the German market.
  • Confident selling to CFOs, finance leads, and C-level stakeholders.
  • Experience with both inbound and outbound sales motions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English; German strongly preferred.

Why Join Vivid?

  • Work from our modern Berlin office with an ambitious, experienced team.
  • Direct influence on go-to-market strategy and revenue growth.
  • Attractive compensation with performance-based bonuses.
  • Significant ownership from day one and strong growth opportunities.
  • Employee stock option program.
Total compensation: We believe the people who build Vivid should own a piece of it. Your total compensation reflects that: a strong fixed base, a performance-based bonus linked to sales targets, and equity via our Employee Stock Option Program. Real upside for real impact.

Not the right fit for you, but you know someone who'd be perfect? We'd love to hear from you. Vivid offers a referral bonus for successful hires – if your referral is hired and completes their probation, you'll receive a thank-you bonus.

About Vivid

At Vivid, we're on a mission to change how businesses and individuals manage their money across Europe. For businesses, we build tools that actually make a difference: multi-IBAN accounts, high-yield savings, business cashback, team cards, and accounting integrations that save real time — all in one place. And for individuals, we offer a simple way to manage and grow your wealth: access to global stocks, ETFs and 150+ cryptocurrencies, cashback, and personalised financial insights.

Our mission? Your success. Everyone deserves the chance to see their finances flourish, and we're dedicated to empowering our customers to make this a reality.

Founded in 2019 in Berlin by Alexander Emeshev and Artem Iamanov, Vivid has quickly grown into one of Germany's top financial platforms for SMEs and private accounts. Since then, we've expanded rapidly across Europe, earning the trust of over 500,000 customers — and with over €200 million raised and a valuation of €775 million, we're just getting started.

We're building Vivid as an AI-native organization — across every function, from product to compliance to operations. Automation handles a growing share of day-to-day execution. For us, this means our teams can focus on architecture, strategy, and high-impact decision-making. This changes how we work: less manual execution, more ownership in building systems that scale. We want to help define what AI-native looks like in a regulated financial environment — and we're looking for people who want to build that future with us.
